CJ’s Simple Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense

With over 30 years of Martial Arts experience, CJ teaches simple Jiu-Jitsu/self-defense concepts to deter an assault on your person. Learn how to maximize effective body positioning, distance management, defensive blocking, and striking to buy yourself time to survive or escape an attack. Basic concepts include:

  • Basic ground grappling defense

  • Distance management

  • Safety Awareness

  • Effective striking (Boxing / Kick Boxing)

  • Time management

  • Teamwork






Program Packaging is as Follows:

CJ’s One-on-One Private Jiu-Jitsu Sessions:

1 Hour Session - $150.00

CJ’s Small Group Private Sessions:

2 People - 6 Session Package $ 480.00 per person

3 People - 6 Session Package $ 420.00 per person

4 People - 6 Session Package $ 400.00 per person

What to wear?

  • Clean sweats

  • Clean gi

  • Clean rash guard

  • Bare feet or wrestling shoes

  • Mouthguards for ground training

Hygiene Rules:

  • Washed gear and clothing

  • Clean Bodies

  • Trimmed nails when grappling

  • No training if you have bumps, rashes or funguses

  • No training if you have a cold, flu, or COVID

Courtesy Rules:

  • It’s ok to say no

  • Respect partners boundaries

  • No foul language

  • Keep it fun and playful while learning

  • Ask questions

  • Tell your partners your injuries
